Period 3 History

The section of the school was named, 'G,' and the room number was 12. G12, this is where Anthony was heading. He heard doors closing and knew the bell was going to sound relatively soon so he started getting into a fast jog. He stepped into the room only seconds before the bell. He was good, but now.. he was in history class, the class he hated more than anything else. He didn't only do bad in this class, but the teacher hates him. Anthony sat in the back in his usual spot. None of his friends are in this class, but he talks to whoever sits near him really. He was still drained from a test that he took the day before. He felt like sleeping before the teacher even opened their mouth. Being extremely bored, he started doodling on the desk. Anthony was failing history because he just couldn't pay attention.

Carmen walked into the History class. She was just switch to it. It was a class for the younger grade but she failed it last year due to too many absences. So she had to retake the class. She had her hair up in a ponytail and was wearing some new clothes she bought the other day.

She walked up to the teacher giving her a note from the counselor saying she was in this class from now on. The teacher sighed since the class was big as it is. She glanced around the class and pointed to the empty desk next to Anthony telling her to sit there. She nodded and headed over to the desk feeling the eyes of all the other students on her. She sat in the chair to the desk and leaned back with a sigh. She turned to Anthony. She knew his name that was about it. "Hey." she said in a whisper so the teach wouldn't her. She smiled and waited for his reply.

Anthony watched as Carmen sat down in the seat next to his. He knew who she was, just because everyone did. He heard her voice and looked to his side and replied,"Sup, so.. I'm guessing your in this class because you failed it? You are a junior, right?" He smirked as the teacher gave him a dirty look. Anthony took out a sheet of paper and a pencil and wrote his name on the paper, to at least make it look like he was going to do something. He turned back towards Carmen and said with a smile,"This guy's a pushover, don't let him fool you." Anthony then sat back in his chair and stared forward in a bored kind of way.

She smiled to herself when the teacher gave Anthony a dirty look for not paying attention. She then nodded "Yea, I am a Junior." she told him glancing at him with a smile. She looked at the teacher who was now giving her a dirty look. She smiled at him and pulled out a piece of paper and wrote her name on it then copied the stuff the teacher had written on the board.

When the teacher turned around again she looked at Anthony. "I had him last year, I know he is a bit of a pushover. And way to annoying, no wonder I failed the class." she told Anthony in a whisper then smiled at him. She then looked back the board and slouched back in her chair.
